WOW its been months since I posted on here! Im back now and better than ever ;) Im now on my bulking season which is six months (From September to the end of February). The first 3 months Im gonna use as conditioning and gaining strength. And the last 3 months Im gonna go on the p90x workout which lasts for 90days (3months). Since I wrote last, I gained alotta weight (muscle) which is good cause thats the goal of bulking :D but I also put on a lil weight around the tummy. Thats not a bad thing, its suppose to happen. All I know is I gotta hit the cardio hard when March comes around (Cutting Season). Ill post pics a lil later. I think Imma post pics at the end of each month so we can see my progress. Alrighty, its nap time zzZ

Hey, its been a while since I posted a blog. Im starting to see and feel results. All the working out is paying off!! Gaining muscle is easy, thats not the problem. Losing the excess fat is a lil tougher. In bodybuilding, you can get the biggest muscles and grow to a monsterous size, but if you have excess bodyfat around your muscles, you wont look as defined. But its all good. I gotta keep moving forward, Im hitting the gym en el manana!

I fell off my ish really bad lol But I realized whats wrong. Im suppose to be in 'cutting season' but Ive been bulking up instead. I think Im gonna continue to do 'bulking season' in place of the cutting and then do the full 'bulking season' in the Fall/Winter. THEN Ill cut in the Spring/Summer of 2010. Im just not ready to give up my fooood lol When I do pick up cutting again, I gotta master it. Cause I be feeling weak during the day and alotta times I cant do my workouts and give them 100%. SO yeah, switching to BULKING!

Ok so for the last two weeks I end up slipping up by Thursday and Friday. The problem? Im not eating enough. I get really really hungry then I slip up. SO I need to eat snacks through out the day. Im bout to go tear the gym up. Be back in a few!

Wednesday was good. I had a good work out, I was feelin so pumped up! Today was a different story. I had to go out and get all these freaking supplies for class so I didnt get to go to the gym. BUT I did manage to do a few sets of pushups, which went well. Im so mad right now and Im really cranky. All this freakin money Im spending at this school, you would think they would make a freakin parking lot or parking garage or somethin!

I was suppose to 40min cardio today but I wasnt even feeling it. So I went for 30 lol When I say Im doing cardio, I dont mean just a walk in the park. The key to doing effective cardio is keeping your heart rate up. I try to keep mines at 140, which is in between my maximum and minimum (120 to 160).

What makes me quit?
- Hunger. I love to eat any and everything so diets for me are a waste of time lol
- Not seeing any results.
- Being tired
- Feeling down
- Just plain laziness
- Having an off day. Sometimes one bad day leads to me having another and another and soon I feel too far gone to turn around.
- People. Some people can be so negative and I foolishly listen to them.
- Knowing the end results. Sometimes I gotta think about WHY I'm doing this and I realize that each day is apart of the process.
- My health. I care about my body (now) and I want to live a long time.
- Strength. I wanna grow stronger and this is the only safe and legal way lol
- Daniel. My personal trainer and friend gives me inspiration to keep moving forward. I wanna be just like him when I grow up LMAO
- Seeing results. It feels good when I can actually notice a GOOD change.
- Having a good work. Good work outs always cheer me up. They make me yearn for my next session.
- Feeling the burn. When I get that sore feeling, I feel like I accomplished something.

Ok so I really really messed up Thursday and Friday but that doesnt give me the license to go back to my old ways. I was depressed but NOW I gotta pick my head back up and get back on track. I must say, I am VERY proud of myself. I really cleaned up my act and actually eating green foods lol I'm bout to head to the gym for cardio, then I'm coming back home to do my intense workout that I had planned for yesterday. I'm falling apart. Due to the events going on in my life, my work outs have suffered. In fact all areas of my life. School is NOT looking good. I'm slipping in my diet. GOD PLEASE HELP ME

Yeah, yesterday I really messed up. I had pound cake, ribs, french fries, the works! Not all at the same time! LOL And I didn't even go to the gym. But you know what? It's okay! Some people use a bad day as an excuse to drop their diets/work out plans. I just gotta press forward and do better, one day at a time.
Today....hmmm well I got a make up class at 930 but I dont plan on staying there for long. SO when I get back I'm hitting the gym HARD.
30min cardio, high intensity
6 sets, 12-15 reps of pushups (3 regular, 3 with higher intensity)
4 sets, 12-15 situps/crunches
OH and if anyone happens to be following what I do, make sure you drink plenty of WATER! I gotta sad yet funny story about my graduation that I'll share some other time lol Keep your heads up!

Heyyy bloggers! Today was GREAT and it's not even over yet lol Started a new diet/workout plan. I got two sessions of cardio, 30min in the morning and 30 more at night. Then next week it will be 40, then 50 and then 1hour! I feel like I'm preparing for a competition lol I'll blog about the meal later. This program is suppose to help you get rid of bodyfat. You know, the stubborn fat on your tummy thats hendering your sexy HAHA
People think I'm crazy when I say I need to lose weight. Let me set the record straight. I dont think Im FAT, I'm just trying to live a healthy life and get down to very little body fat (so my abs can show through). That's my reason for doing this. You should try it too!

Overall I was very pleased with my performance last week. I went to the gym for times and went over ten miles. But now it's time to step it up a notch. Gotta eat on time so I wont be so freaking hungry AND i gotta push myself with the weights and other exercises. I'll keep you posted!

Okay so I really fell off lol I didnt go to the gym yesterday and I didnt go this morning :( But ya know what? It's all good. This isnt a diet. This is a LIFESTYLE change. It's gonna take time. The good news is I'm still eating right! YAY!
I will most likely go to the gym a lil later. I gotta go take pictures in Beaufort and possibly Savannah. Wish me well!

I didn't go to the gym this morning like I planned. I took a brief walk instead. I gotta go back later, maybe around 7 or 8. I'm also gonna be posting my progress and fitness articles I find here and there. But that will be another time. Here's what I ate so far today:

OMG today was a weak day for me. I was having withdrawals, I was CRAVING that fast food greasy crap! I was even justifying in my brain why it would be ok to get a small fry. But I resisted, THANK GOD! I even went to Wild Wings and ordered a salad (I got some strange looks but its all good lmao).

Honestly, I didnt eat much the first half of my day. Just a banana and some crackers. Also I need to improve my water intake. Dinner, however, was the BOMB!

I went to the gym and did only 30 minutes cardio with alternating intensity. Tuesdays and Thursdays are my low intensity days, I'm just using them to stay active. Today I plan on eating only fruits and veggies, HA, lemme see how this turns out! LOL I probablly will eat chicken though. "Fast food = No abs!"

Today's work out was really good. I went to the gym a lil earlier and did 40 minutes on the treadmill. Then when I got home, I did 3 sets of 12 regular push ups and 1 set of 15 push ups with my arms more spread out from each other. VERY intense! I also did 4 sets of 12 sit ups.

I plan on stepping it up a notch and going to the gym EVERYDAY this week (except today, Sunday). A secret I found that works for me is to take it one day at a time. Don't look at the big picture and panic thinking "I'll never lose X amount of pounds" or "I won't be able to work out tomorrow." NO worry about today. Set your goal for the week, for the month, for 4 months, but then take it one day at a time. If you focus on what you have to do for a single day, you'll find that it is so much easier to handle.

- Hard Cardio for 30 to 45 minutes
- Upper body and abdominal work out
- Work out LATER at night when I get home
- Light Cardio for 30 minutes
